Summer Palace and the not-so-hot Hot pot

I'm writing two consecutive posts since I've been lagging on the updates, so this one may not be as rich in content as the previous entry.

On Sunday, Olivia and I went to the Summer Palace. Olivia is an Adsense ambassador from the Dublin office, and since her team is reluctant to speak English to her, she has been hanging out with my team since we are so rad (yes I said "rad." I'm bringing it back).

Summer Palace was really nice. The weather couldn't have been better. The architecture there reminds me a lot of Korean architecture, or maybe the Korean architecture reminds me of Chinese architecture. I was exposed to Korean architecture first, so to keep things simple, let's just say Koreans came first haha.

Here are a few of my pics from Summer Palace:

nice day!

For dinner, Kunan, Olivia and I ate at T6 hot pot, which was glorious. However, this meal, as tasty as it was, confirmed Lewis' hypothesis of it giving you a tum-tum ache. When Lewis was in Beijing, he coined the term "fuhfuhfuh" which describes the sounds you make the morning after. I'm not going to elaborate on this any further, but Lewis...you are correct. Now if you'll excuse me, I need some pepto.
