Christmas in March

So I've been wanting to get a new personal computer for like 6 months now, and this past week I finally bit the bullet. Apple released their new line of Imac's, and with the $1500 price tag on the lowest 24" model, how could I resist?

Another thing that pushed me to pulling the trigger was that my friends all chipped in and bought aperture 2 for me as a birthday present (thanks guys). Aperture is a photo editing software, also made by Apple, but can get much more granular than Picasa, the free Google software that I used to use.

Some other things that happened to fall in my lap due to gifts from others (or from myself) were a brand, spankin' new 16gb ipod nano (thanks Caroline), tokina 11-16mm UWA lens (thanks me), flickr pro account (thanks Irene), and a canon bg-e3 battery grip (thanks mom and dad for the money that went towards purchasing this). Anyways, less talk and more show, here are a few pictures:
