Kunan "Mooshoo" Yeong & another Yiteng sighting!

So last night I had my 2nd authentic, but 3rd non-instant, dish here in Beijing. I ordered a Taiwanese dish called "chi pai fan" which is one of my favorite dishes in the states, but it was cooked differently here...not fried, which is probably healthier but who really knows. Kunan, Yiteng, and Yiteng's "colleague" took me to a restaurant right behind work. The setting was intimate, with large lounge-style couches, and the decor was filled with nice earth tones. I felt like I was in a jazz lounge, and all I needed was a Chinese guy singing his interpretation of Miles Davis. The chicken was good, but hanging out with the three of them was even better. These guys have really made it easy for me to adjust here in China. Shoutout to the bash brothers Kunan and Yiteng!

Here is a picture of Kunan and I. If you knew Kunan before, he is no longer Baloo from jungle book. I swear this guy has completely changed his lifestyle out here. He too has become an icon for all Chinese mei mei's.

"yeah bebe!"

I've decided that from now on, I will no longer say that I hung out with Yiteng. This guy has "pop-star" oozing from his pores. From now on, I will call this a "Yiteng sighting!" As you can see, we spotted Yiteng at the same restaurant (what are the chances?). He was kind enough to let me take a picture of him doing a cool, model pose. I feel like the paparazzi.

Yiteng is very good with the ladies

In the picture above, Judy and Yiteng are simply comparing phones, but that story is kind of boring, so I'm going to make one up. Here's what really happened. Yiteng walked into the restaurant, just as Michael Jackson's "BAD" came on the stereo. Yiteng spotted Judy on the couch, tossed his hair to the side, then moonwalked over to her. After a slick wave with his sparkly fingernails and a ravishing smile, Judy faints and Yiteng comes to her rescue. Here is a picture of them exchanging phone numbers. Colleages? I think not. The end.

Guys, please tell me you didn't take Albert to the "I'm not happy" cockroach place....

Oh yeah, we went to the cockroach place, but I didn't order spaghetti. And cockroaches are high in protein my friend. You should know all about eating weird things like whale meat and eskimo babies, growing up in Alaska.
