You piece of sheep!
For dinner we went to a restaurant called Ashiya, in the south of Beijing, to have some food from Allan's hometown of Lanzhou. The food was tasty, and consisted of a lot of meat products. Meat noodle soup, meat and spicy sauce, meat on a stick, steamed meat, and fried meat (I don't think they could have cooked the meat in any different way). I definitely broke out in the "meat sweats." I think most of it was sheep or lamb, that were actually killed at a young age for dining purposes. Kind of sad, but kind of good. At least they don't feed the sheep bones back to the sheep like they do with some dogs. Sad I know, but so goes the circle of life. Here's a picture of us after stuffing our bell-bells.
This was my first time eating here, but everyone else has been here before, especially Kunan. Apparently the last time they came here with Matthew, Kunan took a liking to one of the fu yuen's in the place, and she remembered him this time around. Throughout the entire dinner, she would walk shyly by our table, steal glances at Kunan, and giggle uncontrollably. She apparently took a liking to him as well. I hope she knows that he's a Malaysian citizen. Here's a picture of the lovely couple:
